Benard is a Legal Associate at the firm. His experience is land conveyance, Labour Dispute Settlement, Litigation, Tax Planning/Advisory, Personal estate, Domestic Relations, Corporate Advisory, Insurance, Legislative drafting and Mediation.
He obtained an (LLB with Honours) from Makerere University Kampala; a Post-graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Center, Kampala and a Post-graduate Diploma in Tax and Revenue Administration from East African School of Taxation.
Benard started his legal career with WEB Advocates & Solicitors as an Intern; rose through the ranks and currently he is an associate. He has since grown with the firm. He also worked at the Ministry of Ethics and Integrity, Office of the President as a Legal Office where he participated in the drafting of the Whistle Blowers’ Protection Act
Regulations; Anti-Pornography Act Registrations; amendment process of the Leadership Code Act and dissemination of Anti-corruption laws in several parts of Uganda.
Benard therefore boasts of experience in both private practice and public service.
